Dr sketchy's. They actually kept still (most of the models did - I'm wondering if someone else complained before I got to because for the last few months the wriggling has got worse and worse, driving me crazy), and they did longer poses.
Oh my gosh! Life drawing tonight was just incredible! We got to draw a ballerina. They're actually my favourite subject to draw - I just want to draw dancers all the time! This was life drawing at CDW studios. If you're in Adelaide you should come on a Friday night - level 3 of the Myer centre from 6-9pm. We draw for pizza!
Thanks to Tim McBurnie, I set up my Portfolio in Portfolio review class. It nearly never happened, as for the stuff that's on it, it will hopefully give me a boot up the bum to update it with some new pieces, because, I really don't like anything that's on it. But at least I have one now...! Anyway, here is some drawing I did today too - 30 thumbnails of a ninja-slapper-gangster....
First post in AGES!!! So, I'm nearly at the end of the first term at CDW Studios... I have never been this busy in my whole entire life, and I am an emotional roller coaster. So I've been too tired to blog... Anyway, this is is some recent art practice and life drawings. In saying that, I don't know if I would put any of this into a portfolio. I'm way behind. So, I'll keep at it, I will be ready eventually.
We had Karen tonight, and Karen, just happens to be my favourite! Amazing to draw.... Anyway I thought it was cool to have her as the model for my last week for a while. On that note, it is official, next week I will hopefully have animated something for the first time in my life... More on that to come. Anyway, here are some of tonight's sketches.
